first meet of the season for ISU, sounds like the top runners will rest (at least for the men). Looks like it will be a hot day for racing.

Heat was stifling. Men's race started @ 11 AM (Eastern). I would guess it was low 90's by race time. Top 4 didn't race, and still nearly won.

Women ran @ 11:40, and dominated from the start. Race was decided in the first 3 minutes, as ISU women were 1-7 early. One UL woman came up mid-race and challenged for the win before Klem slammed the door.

Meet highlight was lunch at Stoll's. Good porkchops and all you can drink water--which came in handy on a day like today. Looking forward to seeing a full squad at Intercollegiates in a couple of weeks on the men's side.

Tyler Bryne...Another Indiana boy lost to an out-of-state school. We need to keep these guys at home and, more importantly, get a few of them to come to Indiana State.

What, no applesauce? Signed, Peter Brady (as Humphrey Bogart)

All-you-can-drink water....what a deal.

You wouldn't believe how many times I've said that! I think Alice had a pretty good Bogart, too.
