Fife nearly breaks 4:00 mile

ISU alum Jordan Fife (07) missed breaking 4:00 for the mile by the narrowest of margins Friday night at IU. Fife won the invitational Mile at IU in 4:00.13. And to make it even more difficult, this was an indoor meet, where it is tougher to run fast. For runners, running a sub 4 minute mile is a lifelong goal. GREAT run by Fife! He'll get that sub 4 mile soon!

And it looks like he did it without anyone pushing him at the finish line. He won by seven seconds!
