no surprises here, SIU has been running very well all season long, so they are the obvious favorite.

ISU was the preseason favorite, but they just haven't run to their potential yet. Hopefully they will Sunday and win yet another MVC crown. This would be the start of ISU's 2nd straight trifecta, winning CC, Indoor track, Outdoor track.

The women were picked 5th, probably about what was expected, but I am confident they will place higher than that.

the meet is SUNDAY, so if you're not doing anything head out to cheer these 2 teams on, they could sure use everyone's support!

even if you can't be there, the meet will be broadcast "live" on the internet, so be sure to check it out.

Here's hoping that the Trees can put together a good one on Sunday. Anyone else coming to TH for MVC?

Will be at the meet Sunday and the High School State meet on Saturday.

The ticker on the livestream was driving me nuts: "Your watching the 2011 Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country Championships..." ???

Please, it's "you're" or "you are." Not to mention that it should have read "and presented by GoSycamores.com" rather than "and is presented by..." Sorry, blame it on my ISU English degree. :bigsmile:

All that said, the online coverage was very good!
