Is there even a remote possibility he might become a Sycamore and run in the national's on his home course for a couple of years?

Nope. He's going big time. His brother runs for Northern Arizona I believe so that's an option. IU is always an option. OK State? Oregon? Wisconsin? All of these are good possibilities. Indiana State was in on his brother and early on I think the general consensus was that they would end up being a package deal.
