Erica Moore sets all time indoor MVC record at 800 meters

Erica Moore drove up to Notre Dame late Friday night and set an ISU and all time MVC record for 800 meters (indoors) on Saturday by running a 2:05.77, this will get her into the NCAA championships next weekend at Arkansas. ISU is lucky to have such a GREAT athlete!

The men's team set an ISU record in the DMR, running 9:42.09, which is a provisional qualifier for the NCAA championship meet. Everyone finds out who qualifies Monday night, the NCAA meet is at Arkansas next weekend

This ia an amazing story. Erica got strep throat after the MVC meet. She was a provisional qualifier for the NCAA Indoors in the Pentathlon but was eliminated last weekend.

Both ISU athletes qualified 8th in the 800-meter run and pole vault respectively. Kylie was tied for the 8th spot and is now listed in the 9th position.
