Hulman Center announced Tuesday that Seymore, Ind.-native John Mellencamp will return to ISU on Oct. 26.

"He loves the Wabash Valley so we're excited to have him back," said Jennifer Cook, business manager for the Hulman Center. "(Mellencamp) actually chose us, not the other way around."

In a Tuesday press release, Mellencamp said, "We're looking forward to playing these dates. The band is sounding great and our intention is to give audiences a fantastic show."

Mellencamp last played in the Hulman Center in March of 2005, his first appearance in the Hulman Center in almost 10 years.

Mellencamp's concert in Terre Haute kicks off his fall 2007 tour dates. He will be touring the Midwest throughout October and November.
Saw this in the Statesman. Pure Awesomeness.

Hey, don't forget to post the link back to articles you reference. Would hate to get in trouble for copyright infringement. I got your back on this one.
