I hope you all enjoy the pictures. I found them at the University Archives and thought some of you might appreciate them.

What are those speck like things in the stadium?

People! I know it is shocking for some of us. The Indiana State football program has lost 28 out of the last 29 games. In addition, ISU's football coach Lou West was suspended one game and fined the school $1,500 for using an ineligible player in three games last year. Lucky for him, NCAA ruling let ISU keep the Oct. 21 victory over Missouri State that broke the longest Division I losing streak at 24 games.

Give me a break...this photo's been doctored by the Tribal Witch Doctor. The Chief and his Princess aren't even facing the crowd, likely praying to the Eastern Burial Mounds (aka Andi's Berm).

That last picture looks familiar,,,,,where have I seen that before? hmmmm. I got mine off of the ISU site before they got the new one.

Actually, they are facing the crowd! Everyone knows that there were stands across the field from the concrete stands where the students sat. Those stands were removed around the '97 season.

When did they become "student only" seats? The removable bleacher seats were initially for "visitors" or anybody following completion of the concrete primary seating/press box, TH Memorial Stadium Arch renovation (1968).

I don't recall the University ever forcing students to sit on the Eastern side.

Where did I say made the students sit or "students only". I remember that being the side that they sat on. The band, Greeks, dorms, all sat there for the most part.(it was the easiest way to get to the beer in the parking lot) Also the visiting team fans. There were some other State fans over there, but from what I remember through the 70's, 80's and early 90's it was the side that the students flocked to.
