game of the week for the MVC as #2 Indiana St. tries to sweep the season series vs. #1 Illinois St.
Should be a great game and fortunately it's on ESPNU at 2:05pm EST today. Hope to see alot of blue in the stands too for this one!

Bowling Green and W. Mich go into OT, so won't see the first half basically. What a surprise.

Take it to the basket! Try to draw a foul, 4 fast breaks and settled for mid range. All missed.

19-36 AT half. We look absolutely pathetic. We're passing up open looks to settle for a double-teamed post player shot. Can't hit free throws, even on fast breaks we have yet to go all the way to the rim. We stop at the free throw line for a runner. 1-5 on those.

Our post play is absolutely weak. Defense just puts arms up and we can't do a thing. I saw the same play 3 different times with the exact same outcome. Get the ball on the left side of the goal. Put no moves on the defender.Try a bad shot. Getting stuffed bigtime and ending up sprawled on the floor. It's embarassing. We have outside presence, but absolutely no inside presence at all.

well, if nothing else, when ISU loses in MVC play it's usually by more than 20 points. Not a pretty game to watch on TV, that's for sure.
WSU and Missouri State come to ISU this next week, ISU MUST win both those games.

well, in that case the entire team was 16-61 from the field, ouch, not a good shooting day at all.
Need to regroup and get 2 wins at home this next week.
this team is awfully young, so again, for where they are in the MVC standings we can't complain. No need to jump ship yet folks.
