another mid-week blowout for ISU, why can't the team save some of these runs for the weekend series, when they really need them?

congrats to CG for win #2, lots of HR's in this game too.

Now if ISU goes over to ILS this weekend and loses that series then there is something seriously not right, ILS was picked to finish LAST in the MVC and is not a very good team despite their winning record. INS needs to at least win 2 or preferably, all 3 games this weekend. If I remember correctly ISU ended the 2008 season with a 3 game sweep of the Redbirds, so keep the win streak going.

EIU beat ILS today, so there is no reason INS should not win this series over ILS this weekend, unless it's rained out or something. I don't think INS has had a single game cancelled for weather this season?

As referenced in the Trib Star article about today's game...Is there any way the Sycs could play all of their conference games during the mid-week? Nice job on the bats, as well as the great defense allowing Cordell to work through some jams today. It was good to see he could pull six innings for the second week in a row.
