Were you surprised with the picks?
Donald Brown? That was a surprise I would say. But I don't think we will question Bill Polian and his draft strategies. I would say he does a pretty damm good job. I really like Mike Heart as a back up to Joe, but what do I know. Mike might not even be healthy?

I'm a Bears fan, but I wasn't surprised. Also, Mike Hart is a great runner, but definitely is a tick slow and has durability issues -- not a good combo for the NFL.

The Bears traded their only pick today, is that right? They need help at WR really bad. They ought to make a run at Q or Marvin... He's still got some game in him I think.

donald brown led the bcs in rushing this past fall....over 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns....averaged around 163 yards per game in 2008....
Fili Moala [6-4, 303] was the team's second round pick. he is a defensive tackle from southern cal. the colts traded up from 61 to 56 in the second round to get him. they also traded their 2009 fifth-round pick, all to miami.
indy still has five more picks on sunday to use.
polian said saturday night that mike hart should be ready to go for the regular season. might not be available at the start of training camp. his recovery from knee surgery is going well, but it usually takes a full year to be completely back from the injury and subsequent surgery.
the colts now have addai, brown, hart, chad simpson and lance ball at running back.

Yep. They traded it for Seatte's 3rd and 4th round pick. They'll have a very busy day tomorrow.
