Indiana State competed well against the University of Illinois, the 30th-ranked team nationally in a coaches poll, but a lack of offense allowed the visiting Illini to blank the Sycamores 3-0 in a nonconference women?s college soccer match at the ISU Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon.
