What are things people miss about the Haute and ISU. I know there are some days I could really go for some Taco Casita!

You could never go wrong with the wet plate from casita. I was partial to the Wabash location, but the 41 location would do in a pinch. The jukebox at the Wabash location had both Dance The Kung Fu and Kung Fu Fighting by Carl Douglas...Awesome!
Probably the number one thing I miss about TH (or Indiana in general) is the Pizza King pizza. My wife is from Muncie and whenever we go back we always get some Pizza King pizza.

I would say that there was nothing better than a square doughnut on a Sunday morning after a long night at the bally. I was always amazed how much the shape could enhance the taste of a piece of fried dough.

Ha, ha,,,,I get Pizza King, Square Doughnuts and Casita at least once a week!:worship2:

you lucky dog, i would love a wet plate or some square donuts, one thing terre haute dosnt have that killed in college was going without skyline chili

I was a Luigi's (13th & Locust) and A Ring Brings (12 Points) man, likely because my grandparents lived around the corner from Luigi's @ 1st Ave and Garfield HS dayz @ Lafayette Ave. A Ring Brings had "deep dish" before the term was ever coined!
Also loved diving into a box of early morning Saps Donuts taken from the ATO front porch after a wild night on fraternity row!!!:sycamores:

I'd like to amend my "highlights"...can't overlook the Hungarian Hall-post Campus Revue celebration(s) and South Lake (WTH) "rush" parties. Great forum for "letting your hair down."
We loved exposing the ISU frosh girls to the "St. Augustine" sulphur water fountain @ Fairbanks Park along the Wabash River. Boy would that stuff ruffle your feathers! Like we used to say, "The chics dig it.":krazy:
An ol' "hazing" MEMORY...A fellow pledge & I were once kidnapped by actives and "discarded" while fully in the BUFF @ 41/Wabash Ave. where the WWII monument is located. Needless to say, it was not easy navigating back to LQ w/o being noticed.
I know I'm leaving out a few...but do ya recall "Streak Weekend" during the Spring of '74.
While on the ISU quad, someone stole my clothes while I was partaking in the campus-wide ceremonies. Forunately, Pres. Rankin had a few sycamore leaves hidden near the bushes & flagpole!:bigsmile:
