Ohio can you really claim that this event is the "National Milk Mile Championships"? I would think that someone would have to have some sort of patten on something like that?

pretty sure you dont have to have patents on a name for a race.... and i am not the one who named it... just getting the word out for it

Ohio if you don't mind sharing - what was your criteria or ideology behind choosing a charity? I am really just curious more than anything...

Thanks

The charity was decided by SAAC. I am not sure what they based their decisions on. Keeney or Schulz would know more about how the charity was chosen, I know SAAC had more than UTD in mind before they finalized their decision.

I believe the primary reason that Up Till Dawn was chosen is because we (SAAC) were going to raise money for this organization at some point anyway, so this is a great opportunity for us. To further clarify, 20% of the proceeds will go to SAAC because its members are working the event, while the other 80% will go to Up Till Dawn. Therefore, we need to make this event as large as possible in order to generate a lot of money to donate. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please feel free to post on here. Thank you very much!

Great milk mile this year!! Jeremiah Vaughan defended his title to break the world record and Bryan Alexander returned and didn't disappoint with his second place finish.

Results are posted at:

http://www.beermile.com/display/event_1278

these are not full results because there was an error in finishing order during the elite mile. we are getting video of the finish this week and will have full results soon.
