Griffyn Carpenter SG, 6-0, 165 Sophomore, Triton. / Bourbon, Ind.
Carpenter is a deep 3-point threat off the catch or dribble. He has a good-looking stroke with a strong release and follows through. Although he didn't shoot well this weekend, all his shots look to have a chance to go in. Carpenter is a below-average athlete but is strong for his size. He knocks down shots by sprinting the lane in transition, reading penetration or coming off screens. He will also sneak in the lane for an occasional defensive rebound, but he knows his role is to make open 3s.

Improved ballhandling and alot more of a mid range game to add to that deep threat ability. likes to post up guards using his strength. not a major d-1 talent by any means but i think he would fit perfectly into a low to mid major.

Well in case you didn't notice - we just added a kid by the name of Jake Kelly and we are no longer a "low mid major"... So I am not sure that this would be a good fit for Griff!
lol Ok, that was all a joke... I am just messing with you! Does Rivals have anything on the kid that anyone could share?

Carpenter could be considered a nice walk-on, as he works pretty hard, but as for scholarship situations, a good NAIA situation would suit him best.

bethel and grace both naia schools have been after him. i think the kid has a better game to that as from when ive seen him he seems to rise to the level of his competition. i seem it in multiple high profile games last year.
