It's my theory - you all stick to yours! I got my season tickets ordered today and I am pumped! So don't you all try and bring me down! ahahah Not possible!
Peace!
Thought I'd move the discussion...
I wasn't talking about any particular State player; though yes it seems like our rosters have been very fluid the last couple of years but I think that's typical for a middle of the road, 'mid-major' program like State.
I don't think coaches ENJOY pulling scholarships from players (well, maybe one but thankfully Myles Brand_RIP fired his keister); bottom line, it LOOKS bad and IS bad for 'business.'
Just like a corporation; if a program becomes known as a player's mill, how does a coach recruit to that? There's no stability in college for starters as kids come and go, mix in JC players and you have a REAL unstable program.
Bottom line in the past 2 seasons, K-Mac has been building HIS program, albeit with some of Royce's parts and some of his own (and honestly, he should be ABLE to and ANY kid who doesn't understand THAT part of MBB at the Div I level, well, he's just a wee bit naive.
Not trying to start a fight; I've been pretty open/clear on Barlow and Donaldson. I don't know why they left (nor do I need to)
If I lived 'local,' I'd be picking up my season tickets too; as it is, I'm hoping FSN and ESPN pick up a TON of State's games this season.
Hope everyone enjoys the holiday -- Indigenous Persons Day aka Columbus Day
