It's my theory - you all stick to yours! I got my season tickets ordered today and I am pumped! So don't you all try and bring me down! ahahah Not possible!

Peace!

Thought I'd move the discussion...

I wasn't talking about any particular State player; though yes it seems like our rosters have been very fluid the last couple of years but I think that's typical for a middle of the road, 'mid-major' program like State.

I don't think coaches ENJOY pulling scholarships from players (well, maybe one but thankfully Myles Brand_RIP fired his keister); bottom line, it LOOKS bad and IS bad for 'business.'

Just like a corporation; if a program becomes known as a player's mill, how does a coach recruit to that? There's no stability in college for starters as kids come and go, mix in JC players and you have a REAL unstable program.

Bottom line in the past 2 seasons, K-Mac has been building HIS program, albeit with some of Royce's parts and some of his own (and honestly, he should be ABLE to and ANY kid who doesn't understand THAT part of MBB at the Div I level, well, he's just a wee bit naive.

Not trying to start a fight; I've been pretty open/clear on Barlow and Donaldson. I don't know why they left (nor do I need to)

If I lived 'local,' I'd be picking up my season tickets too; as it is, I'm hoping FSN and ESPN pick up a TON of State's games this season.

Hope everyone enjoys the holiday -- Indigenous Persons Day aka Columbus Day

Not fight or argument here - you are certainly entitled to your own opinion on how this works... I tend to think I have a pretty good feel for the situation, but again that's just the way I see it. Their really is not much else I can say about it.

My apologies to Myles for making a statement that somewhat hijacked the other thread. We are very pleased to have him wearing blue. Most of our fans will be very supportive throughout your career.

Can't resist also commenting on part of Morgan's quote...I didn't really expect anyone on here to understand it.

Priceless! We call that a Morganism here in the office now. Most of the office staff peeks in here a couple times a day just for enlightenment from the all-wise soothsayer.

Any way my point, because I didn't really expect anyone on here to understand it, (ha-ha) was really that I would expect coach to simply be honest with players throughout their careers. If Coach McK doesn't think my kid will play, I would expect him to let him know so that he could go somewhere else and help another program out if he can. This appears to be what happened with a couple other players, and it's the right thing to do.

LOL! Fair enough, I am glad you all in the "office" are having as much fun with this as me. Sounds like you all could have your own TV show... Might want to call it something other than the "office", I have never watched the show personally - however I understand their is such a show.

Look I do this stuff for fun - I don't really take it to serious, I hope you all do the same. I am a die hard Sycamore and I have my own opinion on just about everything. Some days the goal for me is to be as "over the top" as possible and I think sometimes I do that well.

You know what's great about Morgan (third person reference here) is that even though he doesn't exist in real life the dude is a die hard Sycamore fan and in his perfect world every team at I-State would bring home conference championships!

Enjoy - Go Sycamores!

Yes...and I was too quick to respond. I usually avoid poking fun at anyone. Most of the time I just count to 10 and move on. Just couldn't resist this morning...must be the rain!

Sorry.

Again nothing to be sorry about - Morgan does not actually exist so he can't really take this to personally. It's a message board for gosh sakes, the goal of it is to discuss and form your own opinion. Most people have a problem with me because they are not able to form their own opinion about such topics. So they either A. get on me about my spelling or B. Do what you did and poke fun.

At the end of the day both A and B are ok with me - because I am comfortable with who I am and my views! Morgan he really could care less! LOL But it really must be the rain!
