Jake had a solid all around game and continued to own the boards in the Satellites win over Oregon-Davis.

South Central 82, Oregon-Davis 66: Jake Kitchell had a triple double with 12 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists as the Class 1-A No. 6 Satellites pulled away in the second half.

Alan Baum and Sam Konieczny each added 10 points for South Central (1-1).

Zach Richie had a game-high 29 points and Matt Richie added 11 for the Bobcats (0-3).

Aside from the obvious pts and boards, likin' the 12 assists...always nice to see a big man that can pass...seems like a good trait for a big man to have for the ISU offense.

It's hard to say how those will translate into college, but it's probably safe to say that he a better-than-average passer. A good passing team can compete with teams with better athletes.

Eddie, I don't know if you've seen JO play, but I can tell you that he is one of the best passers I've seen in my 50 years of watching the greatest game ever invented. You'll know what I mean if I say he's one of those rare players that know where all of his teammates are all the time, and sees the available passing lanes.

I only saw the two exhibitions and I liked what I saw for both of the games. One pass in particular was really good but caught the center (can't remember if it was Josh or Brant) off guard...would have been a great play. Definitely looking forward to him playing next year and I'm hoping he's making the most of this redshirt year off.
