Reportedly has offers from Indiana State, Middle Tenn. St, SMU and Weber State. Several others Texas schools are interested. Location does not help us

"SMU, Indiana State, Middle Tennessee, Weber State, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Kansas State, Providence and Wichita State, have all called and most have seen me play."

"I can't really say who my favorite is right now. There are some schools that I like more than others but I can't really say. I'm going to see what happens. I haven't really visited any other schools other than SMU, North Texas and Texas A&M. I'm going to go try to visit Nebraska sometime soon and then Wichita State. I don't know what else my parents have planned."
From a recent Rivals article. Doesn't look good for us. He also just visited SMU for the third time.

Not really. He made First Team All-State and the All-State All-Tournament team. His AAU season gets kicked off tomorrow if I remember reading correctly. There is a big Texas regional tourney going on.

Jonathan Holmes (http://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=2&pr_key=99386), 2011 PF, San Antonio Antonian Prep/San Antonio RoHawks 17: Holmes has a reputation of being a go-to player, and he didn't disappoint at the GASO. He scored, rebounded and played defense. Holmes also played with a swagger that attracts the top recruiters.

Probably was...when I taught/coached in Bedrock during the early 80's, J.R.'s bros coached @ Ooltic JHS and the younger bros (Layne 6'5" F Needmore) had graduated from Evansville during the early 70's before suffering a tragic construction accident death.

"I have high interest in SMU, Texas Tech, Nebraska and Colorado, but I can't really say those are my top four," Holmes said. "I would say I like them all pretty much the same right now."
From a recent article on Rivals. Plans to narrow it down soon and possibly commit.

I don't know if we had a chance of getting him but the three previous threads do not help the recruiting efforts.

I think this is a testament to Gudino's eye for talent. I believe he was credited with finding Holmes and we were in on him before most everyone else.
