Lomomba is a strong wing that is still learning the game but has great upside. He runs the floor and attacks from the wing in transition and has no problem finishing through contact on a regular basis. He slashes and power drives into the lane most going to his right in order to get to the rim. He can make a wide open three when his feet are set but this is clearly an area that needs work because he is streaky at best. Lomomba is a fearless competitor for a freshman and plays with savvy, confidence and good energy. On defense Lomomba plays in a stance which is rare for players his age and has active hands when defending the ball. He is a capable multiple position defender because of his size and ability to move his feet. In the closing second of the game against Sibley (Timberwolve Shootout), Lomomba scored on a drive that helped sealed the win for Memorial. Lomomba must continue to develop his total game and the sky is the limit on how good this future high major player can be.
ESPN's take on the kid. Looks to be a long shot as he has a very solid offer list that includes Baylor, Iowa, Marquette, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico State and Xavier in addition to the Sycamores.

Interview with Lomomba. Seems like a good kid, but it looks like he has no interest in going mid-major.

In addition to Tennessee, Baylor, Cincinnati, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Xavier, among others, have been in recent contact with Lomomba, a native of Canada and two-time letter winner at Memorial.
Offered by Tennessee and you can see who else has started to come calling.

Did a One-on-One with Junior. It's up in the Varsity Club forum.

"He got an offer from Tennessee a couple of weeks ago," Auriantal said. "We are going to West Virginia on an unofficial visit, and also we want to visit Florida. Kansas has called and Kentucky has also called. We always talk to Xavier, Nevada, New Mexico State, Florida, Arizona State calls a lot, Baylor, and those schools have all offered."From a recent Rivals article.

Lomomba, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound combo guard who can score and set up his teammates, has already begun attracting the attention of major U.S. college programs, despite getting ready to enter his junior year at Memorial. Schools like Baylor, West Virginia, Tennessee, Minnesota, Indiana State, New Mexico State, Marquette, Iowa, Nevada and Cincinnati have offered him a scholarship, while Florida, Duke, Illinois, Kansas and Colorado have expressed interest.

Talked to a former HS classmate of mine who played for Loyola University in the early 60's and who saw Junior play last year in Madison, Wisc and he echos the following: Versatile backcourt player who can get to the basket and finish … needs work on his perimeter shooting and ball-handling skills.

Was reading a recent Rivals article and this kid has no intention of playing mid-major hoops. Looked like he was leaning towards UC in the article I read. Apparently he played AAU with another offer (Devon Scott) so he may join him in the Big East.

Since Butler has started making these runs has anyone else noticed the distinct improvement by Horizon League schools in recruiting?

Hmmm Good thing Cleveland State / Horizon League isn't the mid-Majors...

Best of luck to him; better he be in the Horizon than the Valley
