"It's definitely come by surprise,"; Fischer said about his success this season. "I could have never imagined this a year ago. It's just been a really great and exciting year so far."

College coaches have taken notice, too. "Marquette has shown a lot of interest and I've been to a few of their games so far,"; he sad. "Wisconsin is there, too. I just got a couple letters from Butler and Wake Forest, along with some interest from Indiana State and Washington State at this point. That's about it right now. "I was in Madison for the Ohio State game but I just got the tickets by myself. I was supposed to meet with the assistant coach, but it just got so crazy that it didn't end up happening. I've got a few letters from them but not a ton of attention so far. I'm really open to anything. I think my family would like me to stay close but I'm open to going anywhere and they would be there to support me.
