Am I to assume that C.C. means "Community College"??

So, would he be a junior in eligibility then?? I know with KD the only Sophmore, we are wanting to possibly fill in w/ a junior eligible next year.

Correct. He was originally a 2009 kid out of Illinois. He appeared to start getting looks from several pretty big programs, but I'd imagine he went the CC route because of academics or some other issues. Everything I read about him coming out of HS said he was a prolific scorer.

Looks like he is averaging 20 points, 5 boards, 2 assists and a steal per at DMCC.

sounds good. We do lose AC and JK.

DMACC, to my knowledge, is a perrenial power in Juco Div II hoops. I think getting a junior makes sense as well...round out the classes some.

And Isiah Martin

With all due respect to Isiah, they were talking about scorers that we're losing due to graduation.

I can say this with more conviction than a year ago, but it's not going to be easy to replace AC.

Wasn't Bubba from Oxnard, CA? He played what, 2 yrs. before transfering back to Malibu during the ISU "Dark Ages?"

No, he was later during Greene Era. Not a bad player...6'6" 215 F.
BTW, he was a different color than the current recruit...but I guess they could still be related. Kinky world...

Bubba was actually a Tates Locke recruit. I was in school when he was. Tough kid, but too far away from home. He didn't last four years. I thought he wasn't bad, though.

Kinda reminded me of '73 ISU hoopster, 6'11" RICK DARNELL, who likewise got homesick for the CA beachstyle after only one (1) yr. I knew during Spring Break (Daytona Beach) that he gonna be a "one & doner." He was wearing his beach attire during the Winter in TH...had to "borrow" $$$ from Coach Stauffer for the trip.
