Cleckley at WR and QB shows solid and steady production however his size and athleticism are best suited for the wide receiver position. Is primarily used as an option and bootleg quarterback with emphasis placed on his ability to run the football; demonstrates deep zone coverage skills as a defensive back. Shows a smooth release off the line but lacks the burst to break down cushion or get on top of defenders when running deep routes. Demonstrates the ability to use his body when in a crowd; displays sideline presence however we see the need to improve his quickness and burst when making his final break, improving his ability to gain separation. We like this prospect's ability to concentrate and catch the ball in a crowd; is RAC ability demonstrates the steady playing speed he displays as a QB. His hands appear natural and relaxed; doesn't fight the ball and is able to adjust and catch out of the frame. Although Cleckley doesn't project high at the major level, his athleticism and ability to play multiple positions makes him an intriguing prospect as a non BCS competitor.
