Good get! I’m not knocking Little in the slightest, he did a good job for a freshman, but just like every other position on the field, it’s good to have competition.

saves a roster spot.....he gives corey little competition as the kicker....is the other kicker, Martiniez,(who was suspended last season), coming back or has there been a decision made that he won't return at all......

At one point in the video he kicks his foot way over his head warming up. I didn't know that was possible!

he used to kick the top of the backboard at the end of pre-game warmups....he was fun to watch, throwing that leg out there......

I think you mean the bottom of the backboard.

Braulio said he is coming back this year, he told me that a few months ago. This kid has a big CONSISTENT leg though. I could see him taking punts and kickoffs as a freshman. If Braulio does indeed come back I think he will be a lock for XP/FG.

....who ever can consistently hit field goals from 40-45 yards out, shows a live leg on kickoffs......gets their kickoffs deep to or near the end zone with good hang time....no line drives or short kicks that go down to the 20....and can show a little originality with their onsides kicks.......is the winner....whether that be cory, braulio, travis or anybody else......

the more that they can do....especially as a punter......will be the key.....their field goal and PAT attempts have to be up high enough and quickly enough without fear of getting blocked.....

and, yes, in reference to tom crowder...i did mean the bottom of the backboard...lol.....

I dont know Braulio or his situation and don't mean this to sound harsh, but I personally don't think he's coming back. For me it's all about reading the tea leaves....Why would we have 4 kickers on the roster? I think this new recruit seals his fate. He may be a nice kid, but didn't he get kicked off the squad for some stuff he shouldn't have been doing in the first place? I wish him the best and am really excited about the new Sycamore we've just added! Welcome home!
