The 2012 class is loaded with talent no doubt. I disagree with a kid from a prep school making the team and you cannot tell me for a second that the Yoho kid from Eastern is better than Smith from Sullivan....and I'm not sure either of them are good enough to make this group of 18!

Wow. tough team to make. Perea is about #10 in nation and can't make the core.

I've seen Reed at CG and Smith in person and Smith is much better than Reed. As a matter of fact, I don't think there is any comparison.

Smith should be on there but Yoho is very good. I wish both were on there. The difference between Yoho and Smith is the positions played. Both are very skilled.

Where is Yoho going to college? Who is interested in him?

There is a lot of scuttlebutt on Perea being on the team since his prep school isn't even affiliated with the IHSAA.

Evansville is showing a lot of interest. He is interested in both Eville and ISU. State has some tape on him. At this time he has no offers on the table. Others showing interest are IPFW, Eastern Ill. and Butler came to a few cames as well. Not sure of their interest but there is a Greene Co. connection there. Can't remember the rest of the other contacts. He can play! Not sure if State is interested at this time.

Yoho's problem is that he's really slow. He really needs to work on speed and quickness if he is going to be a Division 1 player.

That said, he shouldn't have made this team over Rhett Smith.

WRT La Lumiere... Is that because they haven't pursued IHSAA membership?

Or because they're in a transition period to membershp?

Is IHSAA membership a requirement?

When did the IHSAA allow parochial / private schools to join? 1930s? 1940s?
