    - Wonderful man, who reached the pinnacle of his profession in '77 by winning an ISU National Championship. He helped pave the way for U.S. Gymnastics to be competitive on a WORLDWIDE scale and was one of the greatest ambassadors of the Indiana State University.

"Great coach - Great man. He taught us so much more about life than gymnastics. 46 All-Americans and numerous national Champions can all thank Coach for motivating them to be the best they could be. I learned more about people in 1975 as his asst. coach than in all the previious 4 years of college." - Kevin Murphy, 2-time Pommel Horse All-American(1971-74).

Btw, does anyone know what year ISU dropped Men's Gymnastics as a sport? 1986?

***Note in '75, we tied for NCAA Runnerup w/ LSU.
