The media discussion in the football forum got me thinking about this. Which news station do you prefer? Im not asking based on how each cover Sycamore sports, but what you think in general.

The only media in town that travels to all of the games is the Tribune-Star. I know some people don't like newspapers, but that matters to me. They put in the effort. They treat ISU like a Division I school, as they should.

The next time I see Channel 2 or Channel 10 in Fargo, N.D. or Wichita or anywhere else that isn't within a few hours of TH will be the first time.

Just talking TV - no contest, WTWO all the way. WTHI dropped their sports spot on the daily news quite awhile back. They may have picked it up again (don't know for sure because I never watch it). Whether or not they brought it back it was a really stupid move to drop it in the first place - great leadership?

No question about it. Channel 2 crushes 10 in sports. Though Rick Semmler is headed to 10, so who knows where that will stand.

Went to High School with Little Ricky Semmler...still amazed that a guy that is like 4 11' is a sportscaster.

That's why I stopped watching WTHI altogether.
