Big test second game in to the conference schedule.

If we bring the same defense that we had against Valpo (for most of the game anyway) we will have a good chance.

If we can handle Yarbrough and Fayne we should be in good shape. If they get going like they are capable of, then we are in a world of trouble because we don't match-up very well those 2.

We need to put 2 back to back good games to be competitive in this one. At this time, I really like our chances.

I'm highly considering making the drive to Bloomington / Normal tomorrow. It would be nice to see us get the win. Illinois State seems like they are an up and down team for the most part. They have wins over South Carolina and Ole Miss, but have been blown out by teams like Nevada and Boise State. They had a nail biter against UIC. Really they are about like us in a lot of ways. It should be a pretty competitive game I think.

They have the advantage inside and we have the advantage on the perimeter. The team that holds their own the best in their area of weakness will walk away victors. Would be a great time for Thomas to step up against their athletic 4's...

Agreed. This is THE game for our bigs to show what they've got. We need an inspired defense effort in the post so I hope everyone comes with their lunch pail and are prepared to get physical.
