Wait, what? Didn't he just tear those ligaments a few months ago?

Yeah..He either didn't fully tear them or something else because that is unheard of.. Even with sprains or whatever to that many parts the timetable is crazy fast and what impressed me most is he only had 2 practices back and was like im good for 15 minutes of tough ball tonight coach..Not all dudes are hard wired the same way

Agreed. He couldn't have actually torn them all. There's just no possible way he'd be running, let along jumping and cutting. This kid would never walk the same again, if so. Still a tough SOB, but when I first read the story I was legitimately concerned for this future wellbeing.

On the other hand, check this article out re: Dru Smith. Who ever heard of tearing ankle ligaments and healing in nine (9) days? I think "Farty Marty" must have some Lusk-like pressure on him, otherwise why would anyone threaten the playing career of a kid like Smith after only 1 1/2 weeks? Ol' Ray Bagget (former ISU Athletic Trainer in the 70's) would shit a brick. There's SCIENCE, but it can easily be misused, as indicated by the recent MSU players and the "Cryotherapy" treatment burns on their feet.
