What do y'all think our record will be this year? Especially after our 49-0 win over Quincy.
    I think 5-6

I think you're being optimistic, but I like that!

I'll go with 4-7. Three winnable games that I think we'll win, and one win that we shouldn't get, but we will.

I'm glad we got the shutout and had a good win last night, but if I'm being honest our performance didn't tell me all that much. Quincy is really young, especially on offense, and they were helpless against us most of the night. We scored 21 points simply from them making awful mistakes. And we went a long spell in the first half struggling to move the ball offensively.

Beating Quincy, even by as much as we did, doesn't tell me much. I was actually a little disappointed with our offense at times. Our size and depth finally wore them down. It won't with better competition.

The team has certainly improved. How much, I don't know. I wish we could skip the Louisville game and move on to the road game at EIU. That will tell us a lot about how much the team has improved.

    Still at 3-8 myself.

I had wins over Quincy, Eastern Illinois and Missouri State on Homecoming.

I said before that we would win 3 maybe 4 games. After watching the game last night and having a great time I think we will win 3 maybe 4.

Very dear baseball coach I one had told me to make the plays you should and then a couple of shockers and you will win games.

Going into last night's game I thought 3 to 5 wins (being optimistic) possible. However, after last night's performance I'm sorry to say I'm adjusting that to 2 to 3 wins. Why? Inexcusable penalties say it all. They made little or no difference last night. Plays with things like late hits and targeting will kill us in close games. I know, I know it is early and we are inexperienced. I'll go back to my original predictions IF we eliminate blunders like these!
