    Karma.

Throwing the ball when the game is in hand instead of just running out the clock leads to your QB getting hurt. Good job Petrino.

Overall can't complain the result. Only down seven at the start of the 4th quarter. Played hard, no major injuries (I think) and played disciplined football (very few penalties).

Lack of a passing game is still a concern, but also an unknown. We didn't need to throw it in week one because we ran so well. We really didn't try to throw it much tonight (unsure why) so we still don't know what we have there.

Curious to see how Kilpatrick feels and what the story is on Boyle and his knee. I'm sure Todd Golden will get to the bottom of it and ask the hard questions!

We give this kind of effort each week we will exceed expectations this season and win more games than people predicted.

Sycamores Battled Weather and Cardinals to the End in Loss at Louisville

LOUISVILLE -- Indiana State battled through three separate weather delays and showed a ton of fight as it took a late Louisville offensive surge for the Cardinals to exit the field with a 31-7 victory on a rain-soaked evening at Cardinals Stadium.

Was at the game. Weather definitely affected both teams at times....would be curious to see how much rain fell during the game, had to be 3+ inches.
Defense looked good, great game for Jonas and his family. We have to find a passing game, Louisville picked up on our passing issues from the Quincy game via some articles leading up to this game. I thought our running game looked good, but some type of passing game should have opened it up more. Louisville was chippy, but we didn't help the situation either, appeared in this game as last that Kilpatrick likes to talk smack. Give the vulnerability of that position, not a good thing to do if you want your career prolonged.

Give it time. Just like novacane. I said, we will win. These guys are getting better but are not content with good losses. #believe

It was sporadic. There were times where it would have been very difficult to see and and other times when it should not have affected a passing game. The same could be said for the rain, there were times it was coming down so hard not sure passing would’ve been effective, but another times it should have had no affect on the passing game.
