Prior to seeing this post I had watched bits and pieces of it... What was facinating about it? He seemed like he was living a miserable existence. I enjoy podcast type interviews - I think it seemed dark at times and lacked a human element. To me anyway. But I have a pretty simple mind so he's hard for me to relate to.

Rogan probed him multiple times trying to get him to simply say "yes I clearly know I'm flipping amazing and smarter than most everyone"... How many times can I watch him ask the same question in a different way?

Rogan isn't really meant to prod, he's just there to turn the recorder on and talk about stuff. He even has said as much. That is why I enjoy his podcasts the most out of anyone. I don't think that was his intent, he is just truly fascinated by him as he's talked about what he is doing with many other guests quite a bit. He's a bit of a Musk fanboy.

In any event, if you like technology, the part on AI is great. You can tell he is troubled when he talks about it because he knows what it will ultimately be used for. I've long felt I think the Governments will misuse it and then there will be some sort of cataclysmic event.

The discussion about social media and AI merging is terrifying and interesting. We're basically feeding these companies with millions of data points that they'll be able to do crazy shit with once it matures. Hell, we're already seeing the beginnings with the Russian election tampering stuff. Thinking about humans already being cyborgs because we live/breath with our phones is on point.

Also found his tunnel discussions very interesting -- thinking about 3D landscape vs 2D driving conceptually. The part about tunnels could be stacked up to 100 deep is crazy when you think about it. I'm only 1:15 in so far but that's my takeaways.
