Over confident next week? Could happen, but I don't think so.I believe the leaders, both from the players and the coaches, Will not allow an emotional breakdown nor will they be cocky and have too high an opinion about themselves. I'm hoping to see an angry and hungry team that will earn the win on Saturday.

Am I overly optimistic? I don't think so' we will find out Saturday won't we?

Is this the same team I saw play UNI? Way to go. Don't want to think how many wins we can win this year but if they keep getting better the wins will come. One week at a time. ALL IN!!

That's a very good football team I watched in Brookings last night. There's no quit in that team and that's how championship programs are built.

The MVFC is probably as internally competitive as its been since SDSU joined the league. Lots of proof this year that any team may beat any other team in this league.

That offensive line of yours was putting on some big hits. Your quarterback did a nice job and I particularly liked watching (well, as a Jackrabbit fan, it may be more accurate to say I really didn't like watching) your linebacker, #46 Griffith -- his energy level didn't let off during the game.

Best of luck the remainder of the season.

More than anything I just want to see the team continue to take steps forward. If they do that, wins will come. Continue to improve from week to week and let's see where everything lands at the end of the season.

All that said, this is the best I've felt about the team in a long time.

Yeah, wins will come. It's not like they haven't before. What do we mean by wins? 5-6? One playoff appearance? Done that. This isn't about being a "naysayer" or "bangwagons" or pretentious BS. Most of us have been on this bandwagon for a whole lot longer than one year. But whatever, that's easy enough to put on ignore. I'd like to see some leadership from the university, a goal and future plans. Something more than verily treading water.
