Good News on the Recruiting Front!

For what it's worth, Hero Sports' FCS guy, Brian McLaughlin, has done a ranking of the Top 25 FCS Recruiting Classes for 2019.

He has ISU with the #2 class in the MVFC and the #15 class in the nation! He's been really high on our class since June...

That's some good news on this otherwise depressing football Tuesday!

Gotta stay around for the future. If we can continue to improve, it should be fun.

Link didn't work for me, but this is very encouraging. One thing we seemed to run into with Sanford and Miles was that after their first couple of recruiting classes graduated we weren't left with much talent and depth. Made sense because those early classes were huge and talented because we could offer them early playing time. This is year three of recruiting for Mallory, so perhaps he's not running into the same issue.

Trees need some good news. It's been a tough October, for that matter a bad year.
