    Northwestern's refurbished arena

If you have access to The Chicago Tribune, take a look at the article and photos of the refurbished Ryan Arena, to the tune of $110,000,000. If I knew how to copy and past an article, I would. They reduced the seating capacity from over 9,000 to just over 8,000 and in the last paragraph, mentioned Butler's balcony in the student section.

Newfangled arena looks pretty great to me.

But not sure where you got your seating numbers...

"The arena is larger in footprint but smaller in capacity, trimming from 8,117 seats to 7,039, a number chosen because Northwestern hosted the first NCAA tournament in 1939."
March on, you fighting Sycamores, Sycamores

They can calll it one of the best venues in college basketball if they wish. I can call the floor very ugly if I wish. I do--just my opinion, but I dond't like it at all!

Just listening to Chicago sports radio and they were talking about it. Apparently it has people absolutely wowed that have seen the whole package.

Apparently recruits have taken notice, too. Apparently they are sold out tonight for their exhibition against McKendree and they have 3-4 big time recruits coming to campus including legacy Pat Baldwin, Jr, the #1 overall prospect in the 2021 class.

As mentioned, his dad is a Northwestern legacy and currently the head coach at Milwaukee. I'd actually love to see him join his dad. I can't recall if there has ever been a Top 10 kid that joined their dad at a mid-major program in the recruiting era.
