How all of the MVC Teams Rank in the Net Rankings System

The Net rankings system is the new rankings system that replaces the RPI. Each team in college basketball is in the rankings. Here are the MVC conference rankings at the moment:

    1. Bradley, Ranked 87, at 6-1
    2. Indiana State, Ranked 135, at 3-1
    3. Southern Illinois, Ranked 145, at 3-3
    4. Loyola Chicago, Ranked 148, at 4-2
    5. Missouri State, Ranked 165, at 3-3
    6. Drake, Ranked 174, at 3-1
    7. Illinois State, Ranked 178, at 5-2
    8. Evansville, Ranked 191, at 2-3
    9. Northern Iowa, Ranked 245, at 3-3
    10. Valparaiso, Ranked 262, at 3-3

These are definitely interesting rankings. Higher up the list, Ohio State is No.1 and Loyola Marymount is No.10. Reply with some of your opinions on the MVC rankings.

    Have a nice day!

I'm optimistic about the new NET ranking system, and while it's super early in the season and these rankings will be changing dramatically in the months to come, it's fun to see us at #2.

Bradley has a real good chance at staying number 1. Dat's a good team right der.
Indiana State...all it takes is not losing to improve on your overall #135.
SIU, yes yes, I like what you've done here.
    Loyola, HUGE opportunity tonight.
Missouri State...I bet you fall from your #5 grace in the weeks and months to come.
Drake, hang on there big fella.
Illinois State...I hope you fall and fall hard.
Evansville, you're so cute there in the 190s, enjoy it while it lasts.
UNI, dude, what has happened to you.
Valpo, don't worry that #10 ranking is only temporary.

A lot of the talking heads are bashing this system already but I think the rankings will settle in over the course of the season.

I would love to see the MVC teams as a whole increase their overall rankings. Anything we can do to help bring notoriety to the conference is good. Without a strong conference we are going to be a one bid league.

So much for Bradley's really good chance of staying #1. No gas in the tank tonight at IUPUI. 85 - 73 IUPUI

    But Evansville beat Wyoming 86 - 78!
