honestly, it's difficult to judge if a non conference schedule will be good or bad before the season starts, you never know how good your non conference opponents are going to be until after Christmas. I mean who ever thought freaking North Texas would have one loss? We all thought Wright State would be a good opponent, and they're awful. We all thought Western Kentucky would be good, again, they're not very good. Ball State was better than expected.

Same goes for the MVC schedule, everything changes when you start MVC play, there's more familiarity with your opponents now and teams that you think will do well in MVC play might wind up playing on Thursday?

Who would have ever imagined DRAKE would be as good as they are?

But overall, looking back at this year's non conference schedule, we wound up having a pretty good slate of teams on it. And winning 2 games in Hawaii made it even better. If we win tonight that makes it even better
