[January 20, 2019] Illinois State (14-13) vs. Indiana State (13-13)

There's no thread for tomorrow's game yet so I figured I would start it this time.

This is probably the last time I will get to see us play this year as I work on Senior Day. I will be in St. Louis for the tournament on Saturday and Sunday if by some miracle we make it that far. Hopefully I can see us win one more time.

Illinois State lost by 30 here last year and they are currently on a 4 game losing streak. I've noticed that they tend to have a hard time hanging on to big leads late in the games and teams often go on big runs against them to close the games.

As far as ISU is concerned, it's hard to say how we will play. I tend to think that we will play a close game and I actually think we have a good chance at winning this game. I also think that if Coach Lansing wants to save his job this year, this might be a must win for him as well. There is no way we will win @MSU and @Drake. Prove me wrong, but I just don't see it happening.

I have us splitting the next 2 games. I can't decide which one we will win, but I suspect we will win this one and loose at MSU. I think we end the season 2-2 or 3-1, Im up in the air on the Drake game

I'm predicting either 2-2 or 1-3. I have both ILST and UNI as toss ups with MSU and Drake as definite losses. MSU is playing really well right now and we were horrible against them here. We also always seem to be terrible every year at Drake. We had a chance to beat UNI at their place but couldn't get a rebound off a missed free throw and they scored off of it.

im counting on our opponent's apathy.

also, nobody in the league has played a game that matters other than getting a 1st round bye in the MVC tourney.

Saw Cline for Purdue runnng off multiple screens to get open. Why don’t we run our best shooters off screens?

What is this double screen you speak of ? Is it in the same family as back screens or down screens? I hear those things are outlawed around these parts
