What a waste of time. Who cares about game threads any longer?

    Thanks, Jason.

Although we usually very ceremoniously bow out in St. Louis, this one should and most likely will be a close game. Statistically, we're very close to Valpo...probably why we ended up with the same conference record. I think their style of play (emphasis on inside-out game) matches up well with us.

Sagarin gives us a 54.7% chance of winning. Seems about right. It could definitely go either way.

We're playing better (not great, but better) as of late, so I'm encouraged that we have a shot to make it to Friday. Then...all bets are off.

Any TV for this one? ESPN3 maybe?

These play in games used to be on Fox Midwest but I don't get that channel so am hoping for a streaming option.

The 2019 State Farm MVC Men’s Basketball Championship -- the league’s 29th-consecutive tournament in St. Louis -- on March 7-10 will feature nine games with the first six contests being shown on FOX Sports Midwest and NBC Sports Chicago. Both opening-round games on March 7 and the four quarterfinal games on March 8 will air on FOX Sports Midwest, FOX Sports Indiana, FOX Sports Kansas City, NBC Sports Chicago and The Valley on ESPN outside the six-state RSN footprint.

I don't think Ohio is in the six state blackout list are they? If not, you should have it on ESPN+

I think we will take the lead on the 2nd possession of the game and lead from there out. I think we wont get the jump ball. one Valpo fan will spill an over price beverage. One ISUb fan will have a really good night at the blackjack table after the game.

there will be 1 or 2 posts about coaches we could get.

Ill be wishing it was football season.

trying to bet a little more specific on my predictions.

Thanks or the good fortune at the blackjack table!

Food for thought...we've only won 4 games this year where we didn't score the first point(s). It's kind of a meaningless stat, but it does show how much we struggle if we don't start out the game with early buckets.

We have not won two games in a row since MVC play began, we just beat UNI Saturday, hence we're scheduled to lose Thursday night. I expect that will be the case.
