    Prediction: WIN.

KU sucks. Like, they suck about as bad as any FBS team can suck. They haven't won more than 3 games in a season since 2009. Les Miles is a highly overatted coach and they haven't brought in any talent to suggest KU will be any better than the years prior. Oh, and their best player is suspended for this game.

I plan to be at this game, and after we kick their asses I'll be hearing all of the KU fans tell me that football is just a club sport in between basketball seasons. See, that's what you do when your team sucks. You make excuses and deflect to the one thing you're good at...and that one thing isn't football.

Not to apply too much pressure because if we lose, we can obviously still go on to a great season, but if we've ever had a game against an FBS school that was a "must win," this is it. It would be a huge building block for the program and hopefully springboard us on to our best season in program history.

KU at the end of last season was so bad they only put up 40 points on #4 Oklahoma and lost a nailbiter to #9 Texas. Undoubtedly, that is as bad as any FBS team can be.

My goal for this game is the same as every money game we play each year.

Play well, no injuries, make sure the check clears.

Winning would be the icing on the cake but never expected.

I appreciate you guys wanting to keep things realistic, but if we want things to change with football at state you damn well better hope we can compete in this game and maybe win. Yes, they competed well at times last year. They also started the season with a loss to Nicholls State, which turned around and lost it's next two games to Tulane and McNeese State.
