I was thinking much the same in the shower this morning...pushed back into the game to -11 pts then started choking again, and this was w/o Jordan Printy and his "Lake Erie Kickout!"

It's a couple days until we play the 5th ranked team in the country and I have to wonder...

Will we start the season 0-2 as many (including myself) have predicted? YES
Will any of the Cardinals players drop 29 (or more) points on us? NO
Will the Cardinals have multiple guys score 20+ points on us? NO
Will WE have multiple guys score 20+ points? NO
Can we carry the positives from the Dayton game over to Wednesday night?!?!!? NO
Can we play better defense? And especially, can we do it vs the #5 team in the country? NO
Will Cooper shoot more than 2 behind the arc? YES
Will Agbo and Cobie play more than 4 minutes each? YES
Will De'avion see the floor? YES
Did you know we have a walk-on named Keon Sellers on the team? NO
Will our starting lineup be the same as the Dayton game? YES
Will LaRavia take T-Will's place in the starting lineup? NO
Are you as tired of the phrase "moral victory" as I am? YES
If we upset the #5 team in the country, and then NOT lay an egg vs Ball State, will we receive some votes in next week's polls? N/A
Could ISU PLEASE sell the naming rights of Hulman Center to a big brand like KFC YUM?!!?!? PLEASE!

Also, no team from The Valley could have hung with Louisville last night, the way they were shooting the ball. And it wasn't always our lack of defense, they were hitting everything. They finished with 58.5% FG....which would have been closer to 65-70% had it not been for their garbage-minutes bench players being in the game for the final 5 minutes.

We could have played better perimeter D. Our D against their set plays could have been better. We could have rebounded better. Had we done all of that, we would have lost by 15, instead of 30.

We had some good looks that did not fall. I thought the guys played hard and well for the most part, but we ran into a buzz saw. I am not discouraged. It happens. Remember IU?
