Really looking forward to this game. Hope a lot of Indy alums go, would hate to have more red in the stands than Blue.

Anyone know if the school or alumni association is putting anything together before the game in the Indy area?

There is a reception from 230-430 @ the arena where the game is being played, you need to RSVP though

I am guessing the school wants to keep it pretty hush hush as I cannot find any info about it on the web.

Yes, better to keep it exclusive. No need to generate alumni interest unnecessarily.

Press reset and compete against teams more "in our league".

    I'll be at this game.

I believe you are correct, I received a special email to register, it's very limited on how many they're allowing to attend it.

Sitting the first two games aside as learning experiences (one pretty good, one not so much) as expected this game vs Ball State on a neutral court will be a very good indicator as to how this season will play out. Win it and move on or lose it and ???????
When I was a player, I didn't expect my teammates to play the way I did. I did expect them to work hard every day and get better. Larry Bird

I'll reserve further judgment on this team until we play teams more on our level of competition. We were given false hope after the Dayton game. We just looked totally unprepared to play last night. Would have liked to have been more competitive. Very disappointing. I do think we have some nice talent but until they learn how to defend much better we're going to struggle. Hope to see improvement starting Sunday.

Not too confident about this one. Ball St looks decent this year. They were down 22 at halftime against UE but came back and only lost by 4. I'm also a believer in the Indy press curse and I am sure this game will get some coverage. Depending on how good attendance is they might be smart to just play this game in Indy every year.
