Yes, this is a must win. I have a few free tickets for this game. Message me if you’d like some.

A must win so we can continue treading water. Will we ever hold an opponent under 70 on the road, or will the players continue to just cash it in and be content with slightly better than mediocre?

Actually, I don't have any tickets left for this game. But I do have tickets left for the Northern Iowa game.

Well, we just so happened to have held this same Missouri State team to less than 70 points on the road a few weeks ago.

And we held league leader UNI to under 70 points on the road as well.
    NO EXCUSES

Missouri State struggles on the road, just like every other non-UNI Valley team. Their only road wins for the entire season, not just in conference, are @ Evansville and @ Illinois State. True, they are playing better. They took SIU to the wire in Carbondale, and they just handed Drake an ass whooping similar to what we put on Loyola.

In that Drake game (in Springfield), they shot 56% from three and 53% overall from the field. They out-rebounded Drake and forced Drake into 18 turnovers. I don't want to overlook any opponent, but it will be nearly impossible for them to repeat that performance...especially on the road.

If we can limit our turnovers, hold our own on the glass, and close out on their three point shooters, I think we'll be fine. Prim and da Silva are MEN in the post, but Jake and Tre showed they can bang with those two adequately the first time we played. Key also had 27 points in the first matchup, so hopefully he can get to 25 or more in this game and carry his team to victory.

We “held” Missouri State and UNI to 68 in those games. One a loss, one our only road win in conference. I appreciate seeing the glass as half full, but that’s really a stretch.
